Processing is carried out for the performance of pre-contractual measures and to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future by sending us an e-mail.

Storage Period

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

Processing on Our Own Servers

Data submitted via the contact form is processed exclusively on our own servers hosted by STRATO AG in Germany and delivered by e-mail to our mailbox (info@jf-zerspanung.de). No data is transferred to third-party providers.

4. Hosting

Description and Scope of Data Processing

This website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany (https://www.strato.de). All data is stored exclusively on servers in Germany. The host collects the following data in so-called log files, which your browser transmits:

Processing is necessary to provide the website and to ensure its security (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Log files are automatically deleted after no more than 8 weeks. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with STRATO AG.

5. CAD Upload Portal

Description and Scope of Data Processing

Via our CAD upload portal you can submit project enquiries with CAD files. The following data is processed:

Files are transmitted encrypted (TLS) and stored exclusively on STRATO AG servers in Germany. The enquiry and files are forwarded by e-mail to our mailbox (anfrage@jf-zerspanung.de) and passed internally to the responsible engineer. You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt.

Legal Basis and Storage Period

Processing is carried out for the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). Uploaded files and enquiry data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for processing the enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply. We additionally treat CAD data confidentially as trade secrets (see also our Terms & Conditions, § 9).

6. Job Applications

If you apply for a position by e-mail or via our contact form, we process your application data (cover letter, CV, certificates, contact details) exclusively for the purpose of the application procedure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR in conjunction with § 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act). Application documents are deleted no later than 6 months after completion of the application procedure, unless you have consented to longer storage (talent pool).

7. Embedded Third-Party Content

Spotify

A podcast player from Spotify (Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden) is embedded on our careers page. When the player loads, a connection to Spotify servers is established; your IP address is transmitted and Spotify may set cookies. 8. SSL / TLS Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content (e.g. enquiries and CAD files), this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser bar.
