§ 1 Geltungsbereich
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided by JF Zerspanung GmbH, in particular:
- CNC-Zerspanung (Drehen, Fräsen, Bohrungen)
- Metalwork and welded structures
- Surface finishing (via partner network)
- Assembly and module manufacturing
- Reverse engineering and CAD services
Deviating agreements are only valid if confirmed in writing by both parties.
§ 2 Offer and contract
Quotes from JF Zerspanung GmbH are non-binding, unless explicitly marked as binding. A contract is formed upon written (email or letter) confirmation of our quotes or by acceptance of an order.
Orders are only accepted once we confirm them in writing.
§ 3 Delivery conditions and lead times
Lieferzeiten
Lead times are stated in the quote and agreed upon confirmation of the order. These times apply from the date of written order confirmation, provided all necessary documents (CAD files, drawings, material specifications) are available.
Express Manufacturing
For express orders (24–48h delivery) this is noted separately in the quote and may incur additional costs.
Delivery and dispatch
Delivery conditions are agreed on a case-by-case basis. Packaging and shipping costs are listed in the quote.
§ 4 Payment terms
Payment terms are set out in the quote and the corresponding invoice. Invoices are payable according to the conditions stated on the invoice. In case of late payment, we may charge interest at a rate of 5% per annum.
Payments must be made to the company bank account. Bank details are provided with the invoice.
In case of late payment we reserve the right to suspend further services and charge reminder fees.
§ 5 Ownership and retention of title
Manufactured parts and assemblies remain the property of JF Zerspanung GmbH until all outstanding invoices are paid in full. The customer receives only custody of the manufactured parts, not ownership.
This also applies if customer property (materials, fixtures) has been processed.
§ 6 Warranty and liability
Qualitätsgarantie
JF Zerspanung GmbH works to the highest quality standards and ensures compliance with the tolerances agreed in the quote (e.g. IT6–IT8).
Defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery, otherwise parts are considered accepted.
Warranty period
The warranty period is 12 months from delivery. It expires upon expiry of this period, regardless of whether the defect was known or unknown.
Haftungsbeschränkung
JF Zerspanung GmbH is liable for damage caused by manufacturing defects, limited to the cost of the defective parts or their repair. Liability for consequential damages, loss of profit or other indirect damages is excluded.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty is void if:
- The defect was caused by improper storage or handling
- Parts were subjected to loads beyond their specified limits
- Changes were made without our knowledge
- The customer's property already had defects
§ 7 Withdrawal and cancellation
Orders can only be cancelled with written consent. The following cancellation costs apply:
- Before production: 15% of the quoted amount (handling fee)
- During production: cost of materials + 50% of production costs
- After completion: 100% of the invoice amount
§ 8 Customer liability for customer property
The customer bears the risk for materials, fixtures and other items processed by us. JF Zerspanung GmbH is not liable for damage to customer property during processing, unless such damage is caused by our gross negligence.
§ 9 Confidentiality and data protection
Both parties agree to keep each other's trade secrets and technical information confidential. This applies in particular for CAD files, drawings, and manufacturing secrets.

§ 10 General Provisions
Applicable Law
These GTC are subject to German law. The place of jurisdiction is Itzehoe (Germany).
Severability Clause
If any provision of these GTC is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
Changes to the GTC
JF Zerspanung GmbH reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. Changes will be published on this website. The current version always applies.
